Technology-Assisted Intervention

Our rationale of inclusion has enabled us to join hands with an organization whose one of the primary goal is Education for inclusion. This has equipped us to collaborate and develop a course on Assistive Technology with the long-term purpose of building of vocational skills. The children are working on their communication skills using various technology related interventions such as computers, apps, video modelling and other hand-held devices. This is just the beginning and there are many more wonderful areas to explore in this field.

Snehadhara Foundation is a creative intervention of Gitanjali Sarang. It is the first and only Centre in India that uses Arts Based Therapy as the primary methodology to work with children and adults with disabilities. It shares our mission to promote inclusion by creating new opportunities, providing freedom of choice & experiences to live a life of equality & independence and creating awareness, identifying the support system required for an inclusive society.

The Direct Care space of Snehadhara  is a social lab, which aspires to be a model for special populations that addresses life goals, academic interventions, and where possible learning experiences to meet vocational goals, livelihood and long term care giving. Here through various programs they work with children across disabilities and across age groups using the Arts.
