JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking an experienced Social Worker for a Community-Based Rehabilitation (CBR) Center in Ramanagara. This role will be instrumental in facilitating the transition from “therapy” to “livelihood” for adolescents,
adults and caregivers
You will be responsible for:
- Skill Assessment: Identify the vocational interests and aptitudes of PwDs and Caregivers
- Curriculum Development: Create local-market-aligned training modules (e.g., tailoring, horticulture, or local crafts)
- Livelihood Support: Assist in setting up small-scale income-generation activities within the CBR
- Job Coaching: Provide soft-skills training and support in “Supported Employment” setups
- Traveling across the district to support partnership building, program implementation, monitoring and evaluation.
- Help in organisation development
Skills Required

Ideal Candidate
- Graduates in Social Work or Development or Rural Development
- Diploma in Vocational Rehabilitation (IDD) or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in skill-building for PwDs
- Understands the functioning of a non-profit and can contribute to disability sector at large
